  • Impregnated treated wood

impregnated wood

posts/poles and towers

In this type of modified wood, the furfurylation (impregnation with furfuryl alcohol in a double vacuum chamber, in autoclave, under pressure) is a method that allows, like the thermal and chemical modification, leading to a decrease in equilibrium moisture content and increase the dimensional stability of wood, based on the introduction of chemical compounds that decrease the hygroscopicity of the timber.

The machine rounded posts for agriculture (vineyards, orchards), poles for the fences (also for the highways), for the electricity and for the towers (for hunting)/watchtowers, as well as deck/walkways and playgrounds are the main applications of these kind of wood treated products.
