Located in  Baixa Porto, the Hotel Intercontinental Palácio das Cardosas was born from the requalification of the historic building of the Palácio das Cardosas. The five-star development included the Portaro® EI30 AC40dB at the entrances of the rooms whose interiors reflect the refinement of the different finishes of the door faces, such as the noble walnut leaf and the white lacquer. The corridors were equipped with double fire doors for 30 minutes and emergency exits with fire resistant solutions for up to 60 minutes. The connecting door between the hotel and the emblematic and rehabilitated Café Astória is a 30-minute fire door solution that follows the traditional decoration of the space.
